We are excited to be working with our partners at the Young Athlete Center - St.Louis Children's Hospital to provide you with some valuable information regarding the "recovery of the athlete." The principle of recovery dictates that athletes need adequate time to recuperate from training and competition. Failure to allow for recovery can lead to a decrease in performance, and more importantly, injury to the athlete. Athletes, coaches, and parents can all help in the process of recovery.
