FIFA 11+: Injury Prevention Warm-Ups

Recovery of the Athlete

Experts from the Young Athlete Center present the most up-to-date evidence and recommendations for optimizing recovery in youth soccer players. The presentation will explain the role of the athlete, parent, and coach throughout the recovery process, and we will also discuss an activity timeline and a nutritional timeline for optimizing recovery.

Preparing for College Athletics

Learn about the transition from club to college soccer from our sports medicine professionals, Gabby Herrick DPT and Tom McGowan ATC.

Gabby and Tom will talk about their experiences playing soccer and working with college athletes, and how young soccer players can prepare for the transition to the next level. This webinar helps players and parents to get a new perspective from healthcare providers who are also former college athletes. We will touch on time management, staying healthy, and team dynamics/expectations.
