The Missouri Youth Soccer Association is dedicated to promoting, fostering, and perpetuating the game of soccer throughout the state. Position Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Coaching to lead our coaching education programs and help elevate the standard of youth soccer across Missouri. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing our coaching curriculum, mentoring coaches, and creating pathways for player advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching education programs throughout Missouri
- Lead professional development initiatives for coaches at all levels
- Create safe training environments that maximize player potential
- Serve as a mentor and role model for coaches and players Missourisoccer
- Coordinate coaching certification courses and workshops
- Work with member clubs to strengthen development programs
- Collaborate with national organizations like United Soccer Coaches on coaching education projects Unitedsoccercoaches
- Identify and develop top players throughout the state and help them gain recognition at Regional and National levels Missourisoccer
Qualifications
- Advanced coaching licenses (USSF or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in youth soccer development
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Background in curriculum development and implementation
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth Missourisoccer
- Passion for creating positive youth sporting environments
- Knowledge of CDC concussion protocols and safety standards Bluesombrero
